Great Lakes Region of The Embroiderers’ Guild of America
The Great Lakes Region has over 1,100 members in 42 local EGA chapters across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin.
The purpose of this Region is to foster the highest standards of excellence in the practice of the art of embroidery through an active program of education and study, and to preserve the heritage of the art of embroidery, to serve as a link between chapters and the national organization, to aid in effective cooperation and communication among its member chapters, and to provide for progression of leadership.
